Detailed review of my first order

I placed an order for the Seafood Sampler and a pound of Sea Scallops. The ordering process on their website was straightforward and easy to navigate. I received a confirmation email immediately. Delivery took about 4 days to reach me in California, which was within the estimated timeframe. Everything arrived in a sturdy cooler with plenty of dry ice; nothing was thawed. The scallops cooked up beautifully, very tender and sweet. The sampler had a good variety, and the Sockeye Salmon portions were generous. I had a quick question about thawing instructions and used their online chat support; the representative was helpful and provided clear information. Overall, a very positive first experience. The quality seems top-notch.

Decent Ahi Tuna

Grabbed some Ahi Tuna for sushi night with friends. It came frozen solid, no complaints there. Tasted pretty good, nothing crazy but definitely fresh enough. Shipping was okay, took 5 days to reach Denver. Would probably get it again if I'm planning another sushi night.

Consistently great seafood

This was my third order from Global Seafoods, and they've been consistently excellent every time. This last one was for some Wild Caught Shrimp and they were as good as the Salmon I got previously. The packaging is always solid, and everything arrives perfectly frozen. It's why I keep coming back, I know I'll get quality seafood without any issues. Their Black Cod is next on my list.

Amazing Halibut Fillets!

Oh my goodness, I just had to write this review! The Halibut Fillets I got were absolutely incredible. So fresh, flaky, and delicious. I cooked them for dinner last night and my whole family loved them. This is definitely my new go-to for seafood. I'm already planning my next order for some Sockeye Salmon. You have to try them!

Good King Crab

I ordered Alaskan King Crab legs. They arrived on time, well-packaged and still frozen. Cooked up great, tasted fresh. Will order again when I need more.

Trying to compare Global Seafoods to Vital Choice. Has anyone tried both and have a preference for certain items?

A Ashley Lee 1 month ago
Vital Choice is good, but I think Global Seafoods' king crab is top-tier. For salmon, both are pretty solid.

D Daniel Taylor 1 month ago
I've used both. Global Seafoods seems to have slightly better prices on some of the larger crab orders, but Vital Choice has a bigger variety of specialty items sometimes.

Is Global Seafoods fish actually wild caught? Or is it like, some of it is and some isn't?

R Richard 3 weeks ago
Everything I've ordered from them has been wild-caught, especially the Alaskan stuff.

Pretty sure their whole thing is wild-caught Alaskan seafood. I've never seen anything farmed listed.

Anyone know if they offer a first order discount? Thinking of trying out their salmon.

J Jessica H. 3 days ago
Pretty sure they do, check their homepage or sign up for the newsletter. That's how I got mine.

Do they ship to Hawaii? Trying to send some king crab to my parents there.

B Brittany Torres 2 weeks ago
Yes, they do. Just costs a bit more for shipping, obviously.

My friend in Maui gets stuff from them all the time. It gets there, just expect a slightly higher shipping fee.

Hey guys, thinking about getting some king crab for a holiday dinner. How long does it usually take to get here? I'm in New York City.

L Leah J. 2 days ago
Mine got to Philly in like 2-3 days last month, pretty fast.

Yeah, they're usually quick. They do overnight if you pay extra, but standard shipping is still pretty speedy, like 2-4 business days for me on the east coast.
